We are dedicated to providing campers with healthy fun and a Christ-centered camping experience in an exciting, emotionally safe, learning environment.

The key ingredient of the LLYC camping experience is the building of relationships.

In establishing strong relationships, we reach into the heart of the Gospel message. In each counselor, campers find someone who listens and genuinely cares about their needs. We believe that, through modeling of such behavior, the counselor is the leader in helping the campers progress in their understanding of Jesus Christ. As the campers witness the Gospel of Christ in the words, actions, and lives of the counselors, they often come to a place where they can truly accept God's love. Through loving and challenging campers where they are, we strive to be real with them and give them a special place where they can be real with us, each other, and God.

Situated along the banks of the Frio River on the 1,900-acre H. E. Butt Foundation property in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, LLYC's two camps offer a fun and exciting camping experience for youths in first through tenth grades. Lofty cliffs, rugged terrain, and a crystal-clear, spring-fed river characterize the Frio Canyon, which offers the perfect setting for adventurous activities and exceptional programming.
