| Specifically
designed for 1st - 6th grades, Singing Hills combines
a constant, creative program in a Christ-centered
environment. Campers discover maximum fun and
electrifying adventure through activities, group
games, and special events. They are placed in
cabins according to grade so that each child is
surrounded by peers with similar maturity levels
and counselors acutely aware of the needs of young
campers. All this takes place in a structured,
noncompetitive atmosphere which encourages each
child's creative and industrious nature, while
enhancing his or her self-esteem and image of
God and Christ.
Four of each summer's sessions are two-week camps.
These 14-day camping experiences have proven to
give kids the opportunity to flourish in an environment
designed to promote self-confidence and individuality,
while preparing them for the challenges they will
be facing outside our gates.
Our two-week sessions are designed for campers
who are in 2nd - 6th grades. Sixth graders have
the flexibility to choose between Singing Hills
or Echo Valley.
Our enormously popular "Jam Session"
is appropriately named because we "jam"
two weeks of camp into a one-week experience.
The Jam Session is an ideal place for young people
to begin their camping careers. The purpose of
Jam Session is twofold. First, it helps young
people become more independent as they adjust
to spending time away from home. Second, Jam Session
provides a camping opportunity for those whose
schedules may only allow for a one-week experience.
Our Jam Session is designed for campers who
are in 1st - 5th grades. Based upon our experience,
we enroll first graders in Jam Session only.
Sixth graders who desire a one-week session
should register in Echo Valley Jam Session. This
allows us to gear our programming at Singing Hills
Jam Session toward our younger campers. |
