Typical Camp Day - Echo Valley
6th - 10th grades

Maintaining an important balance between spontaneity and structured programming, Echo Valley is "controlled chaos." We live on the cutting edge, a place where young people, 6th - 10th grades, can enter into a Christ-centered environment where faith is alive and relationships are genuine. Challenging activities and creative events produce pure fun and extreme excitement. There's a method to the madness, as counselors develop a sense of trust while presenting the Gospel message of Christ in a nonthreatening manner.

Teenagers are free to "talk about it" as they engage in lively, facilitated discussions with others in the same boat. They share their deepest questions, dreams, and anxieties as they tap into the wisdom of their peers and counselors. Campers often say, "This is the one place where I can truly open up and be myself." How cool is that?

At the riverFour of each summer's sessions are two-week camps. These 14-day camping experiences have proven to give kids the opportunity to flourish in an environment designed to promote self-confidence and individuality, while preparing them for the challenges they will be facing outside our gates.

Our enormously popular "Jam Session" is appropriately named because we "jam" two weeks of camp into a one-week experience. The Jam Session is an ideal place for young people to begin their camping careers. The purpose of Jam Session is twofold. First, it helps young people become more independent as they adjust to spending time away from home. Second, Jam Session provides a camping opportunity for those whose schedules may only allow for a one-week experience.

Jam Session is open to 6th - 10th grades. Sixth graders who register for Jam Session are limited to Echo Valley.
